Furvax Terms of Service

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and David Legacy Software, a trade name of Mason David Ventures L.L.C., Wendell, North Carolina, USA ("we", "us"), the publisher of the Furvax app. By using Furvax you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@getfurvax.app.

What Furvax is

Furvax keeps a pet's vaccines, medications, preventives, vet visits and weight in one place and reminds you before something is due. It records what you and your vet did.

Furvax records and reminders are not veterinary advice. Legal requirements, such as rabies rules, vary by place and product. Confirm them with your vet or local authority.

The default vaccine schedules in the app are a starting list with a source and date for each row. Your vet's schedule wins. A PDF or backup you export from Furvax is an owner-kept record. It is not signed by a vet.

Your account

You can use Furvax without an account. An account is an email address plus a code we send you. Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for the people you invite to your household.

Subscriptions and Furvax Pro

Furvax is free for one active pet, with every record type, reminders and local backup. Furvax Pro adds unlimited pets, the PDF record, sync and household sharing.

• Furvax Pro costs $2.99 per month or $17.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers on the annual plan only.
• The App Store or Google Play shows the final price in your currency, the trial terms and the renewal date before you confirm.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. A trial turns into a paid annual subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
• Cancel in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The app has a "How to cancel" screen that points there. Deleting the app or your Furvax account does not cancel a subscription.
• Payment and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves.
• If Pro ends, nothing is deleted. Pets over the free limit become read-only, reminders keep working, and you can restore Pro at any time.

Household sharing

The owner's Furvax Pro covers the people in the owner's household. Members can read and edit the shared pets and keep their records under these terms. The owner can remove a member, and a member can leave. A member who leaves or is removed keeps a local copy on their phone, and the records they added stay in the household.

Delete your account

You can delete your account in the app (Settings, then Account, then Delete account) or by following the steps at /delete-account on our website. The Privacy Policy lists what is removed and what stays, such as store purchase records.

Your content

The pets, records, notes and photos you enter are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Furvax for you and your household, as the Privacy Policy describes. Do not add anything you have no right to add.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Furvax: no attempts to break, overload or reverse engineer our servers, no access to a household you are not a member of, no sending invitations to people who have not asked for them, and no use that breaks the law.

No warranty

Furvax is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable and your records safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. Keep a backup of anything important: Furvax can export one.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profit, arising from your use of Furvax. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere that gives you additional consumer protections, those still apply.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app if a change matters. If you keep using Furvax after an update, you accept the new terms.
